Zafrani Butter Chicken

Ingredients

 

 For Marination:

 1: chicken 1 kg

 2: butter 2 tbsp (melted)

 3: saffron 1/4 tsp

 4: milk 1/3 cup

 5: tandoori masala 1 tbsp

 6: garlic 1 tbsp (grated)

 7: dry fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp

 8: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 9: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 10: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

 11: fennel seed powder 1 tsp

 12: yogurt 1/2 cup

 

 For Curry:

 1: oil 1/3 cup

 2: onion 1 large (grind)

 3: mint 3 tbsp

 4: coriander 3 tbsp

 5: green chilli 4 (chopped)

   

Instructions

  1. Zafrani Butter Chicken

     1: in a bowl add all ingredients under marination with chicken mix well and keep aside for 1 hour.

     2: heat oil add the onion paste and fry on high flame till gets golden.

     3: add the marinated chicken mix and fry on high flame in the masala till the chicken changes colour pink to white.

     4: then cover and cook on low to medium flame till the chicken is tender and oil comes on the surface.

     5: add mint, coriander, green chilli mix well.

     6: serve got with naan, roti.
