Tandoori Chicken Wrap

Ingredients

 

 

For Marination:

 

- 1 kg boneless chicken, cut into small pieces

- 3 tbsp lemon juice

- 1 tsp paprika powder

- 1 tbsp tandoori masala

- 2 tsp cumin powder

- 1 1/2 tsp crushed red chilli

- 1 tsp red chilli powder

- 1 tbsp coriander powder

- 1/2 tsp turmeric

- 1 tsp salt

- 3 tbsp thick yogurt

- Coal for smoking the chicken

 

 

For the Sauce:

 

- 1 cup thick yogurt

- 1/2 cup mayonnaise

- 1/2 tsp cumin powder

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

 

 

Other Ingredients:

 

- 2 tbsp oil

- 1 1/2 tbsp crushed garlic

- Finely sliced onions

- Sliced tomatoes

- Sliced cabbage

- Sliced lettuce

Tomato ketchup

Tortillas

 

 

Instructions

  1. Tandoori Chicken Wrap

    1. In a bowl, combine all ingredients for marination and mix well. Let it marinate for 1 hour.

    2. Mix all ingredients for the sauce in a bowl and store in an airtight container in the fridge.

    3. Heat oil in a frying pan and add crushed garlic. Fry until lightly golden.

    4. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook on high flame until it changes color. Then add 1 cup of water, cover, and cook on medium flame until the chicken is tender and the water evaporates.

    5. Heat the coal.

    6. Smoke the cooked chicken as shown in the video.

    7. To assemble the wraps, take a tortilla and spread the prepared sauce in the middle. Add the cooked chicken, onions, tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, more sauce, and ketchup. Wrap it tightly.

    8. Heat a grill pan, brush with a little oil, and warm the chicken wraps.

    9. Serve hot with fries, cold drinks, ketchup, and mayonnaise.
