TABBOULEH

Ingredients

1: 1/4 cup bulgur (cracked wheat) 

2: 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

3: 2 bunches parsley (finely chopped)

4: 1 tsp dry mint or 1/3 cup of fresh mint (finely chopped)

5: 3 large tomatoes (finely chopped)

6: 1 bunch green onion (finely sliced) 

7: 1/2 tsp salt 

8: 1 tsp black pepper

9: 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1: in a large bowl soak the cracked wheat in the lemon juice, olive oil till puffs up, about 20 minutes.

    2: now add all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well.

    3: sevrve on a bed on lettuce.

    4: serve with donar kabab, falafel, hummus, bbq chicken or on its own.
