SPECIAL MUTTON KORMA

Ingredients

1: mutton 1 kg

 2: thick greek yogurt 2 cup

 3: fried onion 1 large (fried and crushed)

 4: oil 3/4 cup

 5: desiccated coconut 2 tbsp

 6: almonds 20 (crushed)

 7: cashew nuts 15 (crushed)

 8: saffron 1/2 tsp

 9: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp

 10: coriander powder 2 tbsp

 11: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 12: garam masala powder 1 tsp

 13: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 14: cinnamon stick 1 

 15: green cardamom 6

 16: mint leaves 15

 17: bullet green chilli 4 (cut in two)

 18: coriander leaves 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. 1: in a bowl add yogurt, desiccated coconut, almonds, cashew nuts, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala  powder, turmeric, ginger & garlic paste mix well.

     2: heat oil add green cardamom, cinnamon stick, meat and fry till changes colour, on high flame.

     3: now add the yogurt mixture mix well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, on high flame.

     4: add water 4 cups of water, wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium flame till the meat is  tender.

     5: then add fried onions, saffron, mint leaves, coriander leaves mix it cover and simmer for a few minutes till the oil  comes on the surface.

     6: serve hot with naan or roti.
