Smoked Chicken Pulao Recipe

Ingredients

1: oil 3/4 cup

 2: onions 2 medium (finely chopped)

 3: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp

 4: chicken 1 kg 

 5: bullet green chili 3 (sliced)

 6: tandoori masala 3 tbsp

 7: garam masala powder 1 tsp

 8: red chili powder 1 tsp (or to your taste)

 9: salt 1 tsp (or to your taste)

10: yogurt 1 cup

11: chicken stock cubes 1 (mixed) water 1 cup

12: fresh coriander handful

13: coals to smoke the curry

14: rice 1 kg

15: lemon juice 3 tbsp

Instructions

  1.  1: heat oil add onions and fry till gets a little golden.

     2: now add ginger & garlic paste and fry on high flame for 5 minutes.

     3: add the chicken and fry on high flame till gets white in color on high flame.

     4: now add green chili, tandoori masala, garam masala powder, red chili powder, salt,  yogurt, chicken stock mix cover, and cook on low to medium till the chicken is tender.

     5: add fresh coriander mix and smoke the chicken as shown in the video.

     6: now add the washed rice, water should be 1 & 1/2 inch above the rice as shown in the video, mix well, lemon juice.

     7: cover the rice and cook on high flame till the water dries.

     8: now heat a flat pan on high flame for 10 minutes and place the pot on it and simmer the rice cover with a tea towel on the lid for 8 to 10 minutes on low flame.

     9: serve hot and enjoy.
