Shimla Mirch Keema

Ingredients

 

 1: oil 1/2 cup

 2: cumin seeds 1 tsp (heaped)

 3: onions 2 medium (finely sliced)

 4: ginger & garlic paste 1 & 1/2 tbsp

 5: tomatoes 4 medium (grind)

 6: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

 7: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 8: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 9: crushed red chilli 2 tsp

 10: cumin powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 11: corainder powder 2 tsp

 12:  mutton mince 1 kg

 13: bell peppers 3 medium size (cut in cubes and remove the seeds)

 14: green chilli 4 (chopped)

 15: fresh coriander leaves hand full

 16: garam masala powder 1 tsp

 

Instructions

  1. Shimla Mirch Keema

     1: heat oil add cumin seeds, onions and fry on high flame till gets dark golden.

     2: add ginger & garlic paste fry on high flame for 3 to 4 minuets.

     3: now add tomatoes, salt, red chilli powder, crushed red chilli, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder mix and cook on medium flame till the oil comes on the surface.

     4: then add mince and cook on high flame for 6 minutes add water 1 glass mix, cover and cook on low to medium flame till the oil comes on the surface.

     5: add bell peppers, green chilli cover and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes.

     6: now add fresh coriander hand full, garam masala powder mix.

     7: serve hot with roti, boiled rice.
