SELF SAUCING CHOCOLATE PUDDING

Ingredients

For Cake:

 1: plain flour 1 cup

 2: granulated sugar 1/2 cup

 3: unsweetened cocoa powder 1/4 cup

 4: baking powder 2 tsp

 5: milk 3 /4 cup

 6: salted butter 1/4 cup (melted)

 7: vanilla essences 1 tbsp

 

 For Sauce:

 1: granulated sugar 1/2 cup

 2: packed light brown sugar 1/2 cup

 3: unsweetened cocoa powder 3 tbsp

 4: hot water 1 & 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. SELF SAUCING CHOCOLATE PUDDING

     Preheat Oven 350f, 180c, gas mark 4.

     

     For Cake:

     1: in a bowl combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder mix well.

     2: now add milk, butter, vanilla and mix till smooth and no lumps.

     3: pour the batter in the 7 or 8 inch pan and spread it evenly.

     

     For Sauce:

     1: combine sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder and mix well.

     2: evenly sprinkle it on the batter and slowly pour the hot water on the top.

     3: bake for 35 to 45 minutes.

     4: leave to cool for 15 minutes.

     5: serve warm with cream or ice cream.
