Sali Boti Recipe

Ingredients

 1: oil 1/2 cup

 2: bay leaves 2

 3: cinnamon stick 2 pieces

 4: black peppercorn 10

 5: cloves 8

 6: green cardamom 8

 7: onions 4 medium (grind)

 8: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp

 9: tomatoes 4 large (grind)

10: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

11: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

12: garam masala powder 1 tsp

13: coriander powder 2 tsp

14: cumin powder 2 tsp

15: turmeric 1/2 tsp

16: mutton meat 1 kg

16: vinegar 1 tbsp

17: jaggery 1 tsp

18: dry apricots 7

19: fresh coriander hand full

  1.  1: in a pot heat oil add bay leaves, cinnamon stick, black peppercorn, cloves, green cardamom, onions, ginger & garlic paste and fry on high flame till changes color.

     2: then add tomatoes, salt, red chili powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and turmeric mix and cook on medium flame till the oil comes to the surface.

     3: now add mutton mix and cook it on high flame for 5 minutes.

     4: add vinegar, jaggery, dry apricots mix and cook on high flame for further 5 minutes, then add water 2 glass mix and wait for a boil on high flame and then cover and cook on low to medium flame till the meat is tender.

     5: add fresh coriander mix.

     6: garnish with sev and serve hot with roti, and rice.
