RED VELVET MOLTEN LAVA CAKE

Ingredients

1: plain flour 6 tbsp (heaped)

 2: powder sugar 1 cup

 3: salted butter 110g

 4: white chocolate 100g

 5: egg whites 2

 6: eggs whole 2

 7: red food colour 1 tbsp mixed with 4 tbsp water

 8: unsweetened cocoa powder 2 tbsp

 9: 4 ramekins (grease well)

 

 Serving Suggestion Your Choice:

 1: powder sugar for dusting

 2: fresh raspberry for serving

 3: vanilla ice-cream 1 scoop

 4: whipped cream

Instructions

  1. RED VELVET MOLTEN LAVA CAKE

    reheat Oven 450f, gas Mark 8, 230c.

     

     1: melt butter, chocolate on a double boiler, add the powder sugar and keep aside.

     2: in a bowl add the eggs, egg whites and beat till combined.

     3: then add red colour, melted butter mixture and beat well till combined.

     4: sieve plain flour, cocoa powder mix together and add this to the liquid mixture and beat again.

     5: pour the batter in the greased ramekins, do not over fill.

     6: bake it for 14 to 15 minutes.

     7: leave it to cool for 2 minutes.

     8: then invert it on a plate, dust powder sugar and some raspberry (or top it with ice-cream, cream).

     9: serve warm and enjoy.
