RAGDA CHAAT

Ingredients

1: chick peas 400g (boiled with baking soda 1 tsp till tender)

 2: onion 1 large (finely chopped)

 3: ginger & garlic paste 1 tsp

 4: salt 1 tsp 

 5: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 6: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 7: chaat masala 1 tsp

 8: tomatoes 3 medium

 9: bullet green chilli 3

 10: tamarind pulp 1 cup

 11: oil 3 tbsp

 12: fresh coriander 1/2 bunch

 13: coriander seeds 1 tbsp (dry roasted & crushed)

 

 For Garnishing:

 1: papari

 2: sweet imli chutney 4 tbsp

 3: chat masala 1/2tsp

 4: green chilli 2 (sliced)

 5: onion 1 medium (cut in rings)

 6: tomato 1 medium (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. RAGDA CHAAT

     1: in a blender add green chilli, tomatoes, fresh coriander and grind to paste.

     2: in a handi add oil, chickpeas, onion, ginger & garlic paste, turmeric, salt, red chilli powder, coriander crushed, chat masala, tamarind pulp, grinned chutney, water 1/2 cup mix and cook it on high flame till the water dries, leave it to cool.

     3: garnish it with tomatoes, sweet imli chutney, onion rings, green chilli, papari, and chaat masala.

     4: serve and enjoy.
