PASANDA BIRYANI

Ingredients

1: beef pasanday 1 kg

 2: thick greek yogurt 2 cups

 3: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 4: coriander powder 2 tsp

 5: cumin seeds 2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

 6: salt 2 tsp

 7: nutmeg 1/2 tsp

 8: mace 1/2 tsp

 9: garam masala powder 1 tsp

 10: kewra water 2 tbsp

 11: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp

 12: bullet green chilli 3

 13: fried onions 1/2 cup

 14: rice 750g (boiled 80% with 3 tbsp salt)

 15: fresh mint 1/4 cup

 16: fresh coriander 1/4 cup

 17: oil 1 cup

 18: raw papaya paste 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. PASANDA BIRYANI

     1: in a bowl add beef pasanday, raw papaya, yogurt, fried onions, ginger & garlic paste, garam masala powder,   nutmeg, mace, cumin, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder mix well, cover and leave it for 2 hours.

     2: heat oil add the pasanday wait for a boil, then cook covered on low flame till the meat is tender. (can add water if   the  meat is not tender).

     3: then add green chilli, mint, coriander mix and close the flame.

     4: place the curry in a large pot add the kewra water mix, top it with boiled rice, wrap the lid with a tea towel cover the   pot, first 5 minutes on high flame and then simmer on low flame for 5 minutes.

     5: mix and serve hot.
