Palmier Biscuits

Ingredients

 1: puff pastry 500g (check the link on the video or ready made)

 2: sugar 1 cup
 
 3: cinnamon powder 1 tsp
 
 4: baking tray with baking paper
 

Instructions

  1.  1: preheat the oven 180c, 350f, gas mark 4.

     2: mix sugar and cinnamon powder, keep aside.
     
     3: dust the working surface with a little flour, press down the dough and roll the pastry, cut the edges of for straight edges.
     
     4: now spread the sugar mix on the pastry, roll lightly so the sugar sets in the pastry and roll the pastry from both sides in words, like a roll.
     
     5: cut the pastry as thick or thin you like.
     
     6: place the cut pastry pieces on the baking tray, bake for 30 minutes(as i cut them thick, bake for 20 minutes and change sides and bake for further 15 minutes or till golden and crisp).
     
     7: once baked cool it completely, keep in air tight boxes and enjoy :)
