PALAK CHANA PULAO
Ingredients
1: spinach 1/2 kg (cut, wash & boil for 10 minutes)
2: chickpeas 250g (soaked overnight with 1/4 tsp baking soda, then washed and boiled till tender)
3: rice 1/2 kg
4: salt 1 tbsp (heaped)
5: garam masala powder 1 tsp
6: green chilli 8 (grinned)
7: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
8: onions 1 large (finely chopped)
9: green chilli 6
10: oil 1/2 cup
11: water 3 & 1/2 cups
Instructions

1: heat oil add onion, ginger & garlic fry till gets golden, on high flame.
2: now add spinach, green chilli paste, salt, garam masala powder, chickpeas, green chilli mix well.
3: then add the washed rice, water mix, cover and cook on high flame, till the water dries.
4: now cover the lid with a tea towel, place it on the pot, cook on high flame for 10 minutes and then simmer on low flame for 5 minutes.
5: serve hot.
