NANDO’S CHICKEN BURGER

Ingredients

Nando Marination:

 1: bell pepper 1 large (red)

 2: onion powder 2tbsp

 3: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

 4: sugar 1 tbsp

 5: black pepper powder 1 tsp

 6: paprika powder 2 tbsp

 7: oregano 1 tbsp

 8: spicy red chilli 3

 9: oil 5 tbsp

 10: garlic 5

 11: malt vinegar 4 tbsp

 12: coal to smoke chicken

 13: oil 1/4 cup for frying

 14: yellow or red food colour 1/4 tsp (optional)

 

 Pink Sauce:

 1: mayonnaise 1/2 cup

 2: sour cream or thick yogurt 1/4 cup

 3: Nando sauce 4 tbsp (as above)

 4: salt 1/4 tsp

 

 For Assembling:

 1: 4 buns

 2: lettuce

 3: tomatoes

 4: fries

Instructions

  1. NANDO'S CHICKEN BURGER

    1: to make the Nando sauce: in a blender add bell pepper, spicy red chili, garlic, onion powder, black pepper, paprika powder, oregano, salt, sugar, vinegar, and oil and grind to a paste(keep 4 tbsp of this aside).

    2: in a bowl add the chicken with the grinned marination mix well, and keep aside for 2 hours. (I added yellow food color)

    3: to make the pink sauce: in a bowl add mayonnaise, cream sauce, marination sauce 4 tbsp, salt mix well, and keep aside.

    4: heat oil and cook chicken for 15 minutes, flip in between, then keep it in a foil covered.

    5: heat coal and smoke the chicken.

    6: warm the buns.

    7: take buns and add lettuce, tomatoes, chicken, and pink sauce cover.

    8: Served hot with fries, and coleslaw.
