MUTTON GINGER

Ingredients

 

 

1: mutton 1 kg

2: onion 1 large (finely sliced)

3: garlic 7 pieces (finely sliced)

4: ginger 2 inch piece (finely sliced)

5: raw papaya paste 1 tbs

6: fresh mint 2 tbs

7: green chilli 4 (sliced)

8: crushed red chilli 1 tbs

9: mace 1/2 tsp

10:lemon juice 2 tbs

11:salt 1 tsp

12:green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

13:crushed black pepper 1 tsp

14:garam masala powder 1 tsp

15:tomatoes 3 (finely chopped)

16:yogurt 1 cup

17: oil 1/2 cup

 

 

Instructions

  1. MUTTON GINGER

     

     

    1: marinate the meat with onions, garlic, ginger, crushed red chilli, crushed black pepper, salt, lemon juice, raw papaya, tomatoes, yogurt mix well cover and keep in the fridge for 1 hour.

    2: now cook the meat on high flame till the meat releases water, then cover and cook on low to medium flame till the water dries the meat is cooked completely.

    3: then add the oil, garam masala, cardamom powder,  mace mix well and cook on high flame for 2 to 3 minutes.

    4: now add the green chilli, mint and a little ginger mix well.

    5: serve hot.
