MURGH KHAAS

Ingredients

1: chicken 1 kg (cut in 16 pieces)

2: tomato puree 1/2 cup
 
3: lemon juice 2tbs
 
4: ginger & garlic paste 1tbs
 
5: almonds 12 (crushed)
 
6: desiccated coconut 2tbs
 
7: fried onions 1/2 cup (ready made)
 
8: yogurt 1 cup
 
9: green chilli 5 (grinned)
 
10:garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
 
11:turmeric 1/2 tsp
 
12:salt 1 tsp
 
13:red chilli powder 1 tsp
 
14: oil/ghee 1/2 cup
 

Instructions

  1. MURGH KHAAS

     

     

    1: marinate the chicken with, tomato puree, yogurt, green chilli, lemon juice, salt, red chilli, turmeric, ginger & garlic, coconut, almonds, fried onions mix well cover and keep in the fridge for 1 hour.

     
    2: heat the oil and add the chicken with the marination, wait for a boil and cover and cook on low to medium till the liquid dries and the oil comes on the surface and the chicken is cooked.
     
    3: now add the garam masala mix.
     
    4: garnish it with the remaining almonds and serve hot with naan.
