MURGH AND METHI

Ingredients

1: chicken 1 kg (cut into 12 pieces)

2: fresh fenugreek leaves 5 bunches (only leaves chopped)

3: fresh coriander 2 bunches (chopped)

4: thick Greek yogurt 1 cup

5: tomatoes 3 (sliced)

6: onions 1 large (sliced)

7: Bullet green chilli 2

8: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp

9: coriander powder 1 tbsp

10: salt 1 tsp

11: red chilli powder 1 tsp

12: cumin seeds 1 tsp

13: garam masala powder 1 tsp

14: turmeric 1/4 tsp

15: cumin powder 1 tsp

16: oil 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. MURGH AND METHI

     1: heat oil add onions, ginger & garlic paste, and fry till golden, on high flame.

     2: then add tomatoes, cumin seeds, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, and cumin powder mix well and cook till the tomatoes reduce and oil comes to the surface, on high flame.

     3: now add fenugreek leaves, and coriander mix well and cook on high flame, till the oil comes to surface.

     4: add the chicken, yogurt, turmeric, water, and 1 glass mix well, wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to  medium flame till the chicken is cooked and oil comes to the surface.

     5: now add garam masala powder, and green chili mix well.

     6: serve hot with roti
