MOONG DAL KI KHEER

Ingredients

 1: moong dal 250g (soak in hot water for 2 hours & then boil till gets tender)

 2: milk 1 & 1/2 litre

 3: cream 1 cup

 4: green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

 5: cashew nuts 1 cup (crushed)

 6: khoya 1 cup (check the link for homemade on the video)

 7: water 1 cup

 8: corn flour 2 tbsp

 9: sugar 1 cup

 10: almonds 10 (crushed)

 11: pistachio 15 (crushed)

  1. MOONG DAL KI KHEER

    1: grind the dal till smooth (can add a little water to grind).

    2: add milk to a pan, bring to a boil, then add the ground dal and mix well, cook on low flame till the mixture gets thick.

    3: then add sugar, and green cardamom powder mix well, and cook on medium flame till the sugar dissolves.

    4: mix water, and corn flour and add it to the dal mixture, mix till gets thick, now close the flame.

    5: then add khoya and mix well, now add cashew nuts, and cand ream mix well again, and leave to cool.

    6: garnish it with almonds and pistachios and keep it in the fridge to chill.

    7: serve and enjoy.
