Ingredients

 

 

1: plain flour 1 cup

2: thick greek yogurt 1 cup

3: green cardamom powder 1/2ts

4: yellow food color 1/4ts

5: baking powder 1/2ts

6: egg 1

 

Sugar Syrup:

 

1: water 1&1/2 cup

2: sugar 1 cup

3: kewra water 1tbs

4: almonds 6 (crushed)

5: pistachio 8 (crushed)

 

 

Instructions

  1. MEETHAY BARAY

    Syrup:

    1: in a pan add water, sugar, kewra water mix and boil it on medium flame till the sugar dissolves, keep aside.

     

    Baray Batter:

    1: in a bowl add flour, baking powder, green cardamom powder, yellow color mix the dry ingredients.

    2: then add the yogurt, egg mix well.

    3: heat oil.

    4: now add in 1tbs of batter for each baray, fry till golden on medium flame.

    5: keep them on paper towel to drain extra oil.

    6: then add them in the hot syrup.

    7: transfer this in a dish with syrup.

    8: garnish it with crushed nuts.

    9: serve warm or cold.
