MASALA CHICKEN
Ingredients
1: chicken 1 kg
2: onion 2 large (chopped or grind)
3: tomatoes 3 medium (chopped)
4: yogurt 1 cup
5: ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
6: curry masala powder 1 tbsp (heaped)
7: coriander powder 2 tsp
8: red chilli powder 1 tsp
9: salt 1 tsp
10: cumin 1 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)
11: garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
12: turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
13: green chilli 3
14: fresh coriander hand full
15: oil 3/4 cup
For Powder Masala:
1: black pepper corns 1 tbsp
2: green cardamom 15
3: bay leaves 9
4: cinnamon sticks 10 pieces
5: cumin seeds 3 tbsp
6: coriander seeds 4 tbsp
7: cloves 9
8: black cardamom 1 tbsp
9: poppy seeds 2 tbsp (or) almonds 2 tbsp
10: dry ginger powder 2 tsp
11: turmeric 1 tsp
12: red chilli powder 2 tbsp
13: salt 1 tbsp

MASALA CHICKEN
1: to make the masala powder: in a pan add the dry spices except the powder spices as shown in the video, dry roast and grind to a powder, then add the red chilli powder, turmeric, ginger powder, salt mix well and store in a air tight container (can use in meat and vegetable curry).
2: heat oil ad onions, ginger & garlic paste mix and fry on high flame till gets golden.
3: add tomatoes, coriander powder, dry roasted cumin, red chilli, turmeric, garam masala, salt, grind masala powder, water 1 cup, mix and cook on medium flame till the oil comes on the surface.
4: now add the chicken and fry it in the masala for 4 to 5 minutes on high flame.
5: then add the yogurt and cook for 3 minutes on high flame, add water 1 cup mix well and wait for a boil on high flame and then cover and cook on medium flame till the chicken is tender and oil comes on surface.
6: add fresh coriander, green chilli simmer on low flame for a minute.
7: serve hot with Roti or Naan.
