MARZIPAN

Best Season: Suitable throughout the year

Ingredients

1: almonds 1 cup

2: powder sugar 1 cup (a little extra to dust)
 
3: vanilla essence 3 drops
 
4: almond essence 3 drops

Instructions

  1. MARZIPAN

    1: boil water and add almonds, boil for a good 5 minutes, and remove the skin.

    2: in a chopper add the almonds and chop till grounds well.
     
    3: then add the powdered sugar on the chopper till looks like a dough.
     
    4: add the vanilla, and almond essence and on again.
     
    5: now place 3 tbs of sugar powder on a plate remove the almond mix from the chopper place it on the sugar and mix to make it a neat ball.
     
    6: keep in an airtight bag, make sure there is no air in it, and keep in the fridge and use for 7 months.
