Makhani Sabzi

Ingredients

1: oil 1/3 cup

 2: unsalted butter 70g

 3: cumin seeds 2 tsp

 4: onion 1 medium (grind)

 5: tomatoes 2 large (grind)

 6: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

 7: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 8: crushed red chilli 2 tsp (heaped)

 9: potatoes 600g (peeled & cut into cubes)

 10: frozen peas 1 & 1/2 cup

 11: yogurt 3 tbsp

 12: paneer 400g (cut in cubes) (cottage cheese)

 13: green chilli 3 (sliced)

 14: garam masala powder 1/2 tsp

 15: fresh coriander 5 tbsp

  1. 1: melt and heat oil together.

    2: then add cumin seeds, and onion mix and fry on high flame and change the color of the onion.

    3: now add tomatoes, salt, turmeric, and crushed red chili mix and cook on high flame till the oil comes to the surface.

    4: add potatoes, peas, water 1 cup mix and wait for a boil on high flame and then cover and cook on medium flame till the potatoes soften.

    5: then add yogurt mix and cook on high flame till the oil comes to the surface.

    6: add the paneer, green chili, fresh coriander, and garam masala powder mix and simmer on low flame for 5 minutes.

    7: Served hot with roti, paratha, or puri paratha.
