LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN WINGS

Ingredients

1: chicken wings 1 kg (they are called wingettes & drummettes)

 2: garlic 3 cloves (crushed)

 3: lemon juice 1 tbsp

 4: olive oil 2 tbsp

 5: salt 1/4 tsp

 6: plain flour or corn flour 2 tbsp

 7: lemon pepper seasoning 1 & 1/2 tsp (for homemade check the link)

 8: unsalted butter 50g

 9: lemon pepper seasoning 1 & 1/2 tsp (for homemade check the link) 

Instructions

  1.  NOTE: Preheat Oven 400f, 200c, Gas Mark 6.

     

     1: in a bowl add chicken, salt, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, mix well and leave it for 30 minutes.

     2: mix plain flour, lemon pepper seasoning.

     3: add the mixture of lemon pepper and flour in the chicken wings and mix well. (you can deep fry it at this stage as  well).

     4: take a baking tray place wire rack and place the wings on it (you can place the wings on the baking tray without the  wire rack or using baking paper too).

     5: bake for 40 minutes and in the middle turn sides.

     6: in a pan and the butter and lemon pepper seasoning and melt the butter.

     7: once the chicken is baked add the melted butter mixture on it mix well, keep it on the baking tray and bake for further 5 to 6 minutes.

     8: serve hot with fries and cold drinks.
