LAUKI KI KHEER

Ingredients

1: Bottle Gourd (Lauki) 2 cups (peeled & grated)

 2: milk 7 cup

 3: cashew nuts 1/2 cup (grind to a paste with milk 1/3 cup)

 4: sabudana 5 tbsp (soaked in water for 20 minutes)

 5: Sweetened Condensed Milk 397g 

 6: sugar 1/2 cup

 7: khoya 150g (readymade or homemade check the link in the video)

 8: pistachio 30 (sliced)

 9: kewra water 2 tbsp

 10: green food colour 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. LAUKI KI KHEER

     1: in a pan add lauki, water 1 cup and cook on low flame till it gets cooked and no liquid is left, keep aside.

     2: boil the milk add sabudana, and cook for 10 to 15 minutes on low flame till it is tender.

     3: then add cashew nut paste, khoya, condensed milk mix well with a whisk.

     4: then add kewra water, food colour, cooked lauki, sugar mix well and cook on low flame, for 15 to 20 minutes.

     5: add the pistachio and leave a little for garnishing.

     6: garnish with remaining pistachio and serve hot or cold.
