LAHSUN PALAK RECIPE

Ingredients

1: spinach can 765g (I used 2 cans chopped spinach of 765g each) or fresh 2 kg

 2: tomatoes 4 medium (sliced)

 3: onions 3 medium (finely chopped)

 4: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp

 5: fresh garlic 2 whole bulbs (finely sliced)

 6: cumin seeds 1 tsp

 7: cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

 8: salt 1 tsp

 9: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 10: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 11: garam masala powder 1 tsp

 12: coriander powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 13: Bullet green chilli 3 (sliced)

 14: oil 1/2 cup

 15: butter to serve with

  1. 1: heat oil add cumin seeds, onions and fry on high flame till gets soft.

    2: now add green chili, fresh garlic, ginger & garlic paste and fry for a further 2 to 3 minutes on high flame.

    3: add the tomatoes, spices, water 1/2 cup mix and cook on high flame till the tomatoes reduce and oil comes to the surface.

    4: then add the spinach mix, cover, and cook on low flame for 25 minutes.

    5: now increase the flame and dry any water remaining.

    6: Served hot with butter, roti, and sweet cold lassi.
