Kathiawari Chaat

Ingredients

 

 1: chickpeas cans 3 (each 400g)

 2: potatoes 2 large (boiled)

 3: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 4: chat masala powder 1 tsp

 5: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 6: crushed red chilli 2 tsp

 7: chicken powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 8: salt 1/2 tsp

 9: sugar 1 & 1/2 tbsp

 10: tomato ketchup 1/2 cup

 11: tamarind pulp 1/2 cup

 12: water 3 cups

 13: tomato 1 large (chopped)

 14: onion 1 medium (chopped)

 15: green chilli 3 (chopped)

 16: cornflour 1 & 1/2 tsp (mix with little water)

 17: fresh coriander 2 tbsp

 

 For Serving:

 1: papri

 2: onion

 3: fresh coriander

 4: green chilli

 

Instructions

  1. Kathiawari Chaat

     1: in a pot add chickpeas, potatoes, red chilli, chat masala, turmeric, crushed red chilli, chicken powder, salt, sugar, tomato ketchup, tamarind pulp and mix well and add water mix and wait for a boil on high flame.

     2: then add tomato, onion, green chilli and cook on high flame for 2 minutes.

     3: now add the cornflour mixture and cook till gets thick on low flame.

     4: add fresh coriander and mix.

     5: garnish it with papri, onion, green chilli, coriander.

     6: serve hot or warm.
