Ingredients

1: chicken 1 kg (cut into 16 pieces)

2: onions 1 large (finely chopped)

3: yogurt 1 cup

4: tomatoes fresh 2 large or 1 can 400g

5: green chilli 3

6: turmeric 1/2 ts

7: coriander powder 1 tbs

8: salt 1ts

9: garam masala powder 1 ts

10: red chilli powder 1 ts

11: dried fenugreek leaves 4 tbs

12: whole red chilli 8

13: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbs

14: oil 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. KASORI MURGH

    1: heat oil in a pan add the whole red chilli, onions, ginger & garlic paste and fry on high flame till light golden.

    2: then add tomatoes, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and turmeric cook on high flame till the oil comes to the surface.

    3: add the chicken pieces and cook it till the colour changes on high flame.

    4: add the yoghurt mix well, wait for a boil on high flame, then lower the flame to low to medium and cook till the chicken is completely cooked and the oil comes on the surface.

    5: now add the green chilli, fenugreek leaves, garam masala mix and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes on low flame.

    6: Served hot with roti or naan.
