Ingredients

1: boneless chicken 1 kg (cut in 1 to 2 inches)

2: onions 1 large (finely chopped)

3: butter 50g

4: oil 1/2 cup

5: lemon juice 4 tbs

6: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbs

7: crushed black pepper 1 tsp

8: crushed red chilli 1&1/2 tsp

9: cumin seeds 1 tbs (dry roasted and crushed)

10: salt 1 tsp

11: roasted gram 2 tbs

12: almonds 2 tbs

13: cheese slices as many as required for garnishing

14: fresh coriander hand full

Instructions

  1. KASTOORI CHICKEN

    1: grind the roasted gram, and almonds with little milk or water to a paste.

    2: marinate the chicken with lemon juice, ginger & garlic paste, black pepper, red chili, salt, cumin, and the ground paste mix well cover, and keep in the fridge for 1/2 to 1 hour.

    3: heat oil and butter add the onions and fry till gets soft on high flame.

    4: add the chicken with the marination, water 1 glass mix, and wait to boil on high flame, then lower the flame to low to medium and cook till the water dries and the oil comes to the surface.

    5: then add the coriander and mix well.

    6: when serving cut the cheese slices and garnish.

    7: Served hot with naan.
