KALEJI KARAHI RECIPE

Ingredients

For Marination:

 1: Mutton liver 1/2 kg

 2: garlic freshly 1 whole bulb (crushed)

 3: lemon juice 4 tbsp

 

 For Curry:

 1: oil 1/2 Cup

 2: tomatoes 5 medium (boiled & remove skin)

 3: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp

 4: turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

 5: crushed red chilli 1 tbsp

 6: dry fenugreek leaves 1/2 cup

 7: green chilli 3

 8: cumin seeds 1 tbsp (dry roasted & crushed)

 9: salt 1 tsp 

 10: fresh ginger 1 inch (julienne) 

 11: lemon juice 2 tbsp 

Instructions

  1.  1: marinate the liver with lemon juice, garlic for 1 or 2 hours, then wash it.

     2: heat oil add ginger & garlic paste and fry on high flame for 1 minute.

     3: add the tomatoes, turmeric, crushed red chilli, cumin mix well and cook on high flame till the tomatoes soften and   the oil comes on surface.

     4: now add a few chopped green chilli, washed liver and cook on high flame for 5 minutes.

     5: then add lemon juice, ginger, dry fenugreek leaves, salt, green chilli mix and simmer on low flame for only 2 minutes.

     6: serve hot with Roti
