KALAY CHANAY KI CHAAT

Ingredients

 1: kalay chanay 250g (black gram)(soaked overnight with 1/2 tsp baking soda, wash next day and boil till tender)

 2: potatoes 2 large (boiled)

 3: green chilli 2 (finely chopped)

 4: imli pulp 1/2 cup or sweet imli chutney 1/2 cup (tamarind)

 5: salt 1 tsp

 6: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 7: garam masala powder 1/2 tsp

 8: chaat masala powder 1/2 tsp

 9: cumin seeds 1 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

 10: lemon juice 2 tbsp

 11: onion 1 medium (finely chopped)

 12: fresh coriander 3 tbsp

 13: oil 2 tbsp

 

Instructions

  1. KALAY CHANAY KI CHAAT

     1: heat oil add chanay, potatoes, salt, garam masala powder, dry roasted cumin, red chili powder, chaat masala powder, lemon juice, and imli pulp, and cook on medium flame.

     2: add the chopped onions mix and remove the pan from the stove.

     3: transfer it to a serving dish, sprinkle coriander and green chili.

     4: serve and enjoy.
