HYDERABADI MIRCH GOSHT

Ingredients

 

 

1: mutton 1/2 kg (boiled till tender)

2: tamarind pulp 1/2 cup

3: cumin seeds 2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

4: desiccated coconut 4 tbsp (dry roasted)

5: peanuts 4 tbsp (dry roasted)

6: sesame seed 2 tsp (dry roasted)

7: yogurt 1 cup

8: onions 2 medium (grind)

9: bullet green chilli 12

10: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

11: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

12: curry leaves 2 tbsp

13: ginger & garlic paste 1 tsp (heaped)

14: oil 1/2 cup

15: coriander leaves handful

 

 

Instructions

  1. HYDERABADI MIRCH GOSHT

    1: in a grinder add the cumin, coconut, peanuts, sesame and grind to a powder.

    2: heat oil and fry the green chillis and take it out and keep aside.

    3: heat oil and add the onions and fry till gets a golden colour, on high flame.

    5: now add salt, ginger & garlic paste, curry leaves, red chilli powder, tamarind pulp, yogurt, grinned powder mix well and cook on high flame till the oil separates.

    6: then add the meat, water 1 cup mix and wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on medium flame till the oil separates.

    7: now add the fried green chilis, fresh coriander and simmer on low flame for 3 to 4 minutes.

    8: serve hot with roti.
