HOMEMADE PASTA SAUCE

Best Season: Suitable throughout the year

Ingredients

1: crushed tomatoes 4 cans (each 400g)

2: tomato pasta 1 box (500g) 

3: onion 1 large (chopped)

4: garlic cloves 6 pieces (crushed)

5: olive oil extra virgin 1/3 cup

6: oregano 1 tsp

7: basil 1/2 tsp 

8: thyme 1/2 tsp

9: salt 2 tsp

10: black pepper powder 1 tsp

11: crushed red chilli 2 tsp

12: water 2 cups

Instructions

  1. 1: heat oil add onions, garlic and cook till gets soft, on high flame.

    2: now add tomato pasta, crushed tomato mix, salt, thyme, basil, oregano, crushed red chili, black pepper, and water mix, and cook on low flame for 30 minutes.

    3: once cooked, leave to cool and store in fridge for 3 to 4 days and freeze for 4 to 8 months.
