HARIYALI CHICKEN BOTI

Ingredients

 

 

 1: chicken 1 kg (cut in 12 pieces)

 2: fresh coriander 1/2 bunch

 3: green chilli 8

 4: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp

 5: salt 1 tsp

 6: black pepper powder 1/2 tsp

 7: garam masala powder 1/2 tsp

 8: cumin seeds 1 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

 9: crushed red chilli 1 tsp

 10: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 11: cream 1 cup

 12: onion 1 large (cut in rings)

 13: lemon 1 (cut in 4)

 14: coals to smoke the chicken

 15: green chilli 3 (sliced)

 16: oil 1/2 cup

 

 

Instructions

  1. HARIYALI CHICKEN BOTI

     1: grind green chilli and fresh corainder.

     2: marinate the chicken with ginger & garlic paste, garam masala powder, crushed red chilli, salt, turmeric, cumin seeds, black pepper powder, cream, green chlli and corainder paste mix well and keep aside for 1 hour.

     3: heat oil add the marinated chicken, mix and wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium flame till the oil comes on surface and chicken is tender.

     4: heat coals.

     5: place the hot coals add oil on it and place on the curry, cover it till the smoke settles.

     6: serve hot with naan, roti.
