HARIYALI ALOO

Ingredients

1: baby potatoes 1 kg (peeled & boiled)

2: oil 1/3 cup

3: mustard seeds 1 tsp

4: water 1/2 cup

5: yogurt 1/2 cup

6: lemon juice 2 tbsp

7: garam masala powder 1/2 tsp

8: tamarind chutney 1/3 cup

9: spring onion 1 (chopped)

10:samosa patti (sliced & fried)

 

For green masala:

1: green chilli 6

2: mint leaves 1/2 cup

3: fresh coriander 1 cup

4: cumin seeds 2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

5: salt 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. 1: place all ingredients under green masala, in a blender and grind.

    2: heat oil add curry leaves, mustard seeds, green masala, water and stir it.

    3: now add potatoes, lemon juice, garam masala powder, yogurt, imili and cook on high flame, till liquid dries.

    4: transfer the potatoes in a bowl, add the imili chutney on top, spring onions, chat masala a pinch and the fried samosa Patti.

    5: serve and enjoy.
