GOSHT LABABDAR

Ingredients

1: mutton 1 kg

 2: onion 2 large (grind)

 3: bell pepper 1 (sliced)

 4: butter 3 tbsp

 5: oil 1/2 cup

 6: ginger & garlic paste 3 tbsp

 7: green chilli 3 (finely chopped)

 8: garam masala powder 1 tsp

 9: black pepper powder 1 tsp

 10: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 11: salt 1 & 1/2 tsp

 12: mace 1/2 tsp

 13: cream 1 cup

 14: tomatoe puree 1 cup

 15: dry fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp

 16: bay leaves 2

 17: black pepper corns 12

 18: cumin seeds 1 tsp

 19: cloves 8

 20: black cardamom 2

 21: green cardamom 6

 22: cinnamon stick 2 inch

 

Instructions

  1. 1: heat oil add black pepper corns, cloves, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, green cardamom, black cardamom, bay leaves, onion, ginger & garlic paste mix and fry on high flame, till gets golden.

     2: add tomato puree, green chilli, salt, red chilli powder, dry fenugreek leaves, mace, black pepper powder, water 1/2 cup mix and cook on high flame till the oil comes on the surface.

     3: add the meat and cook on high flame for 8 minutes, add water 2 glass and wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium till the meat is tender and the oil comes on surface.

     4: now add cream, butter, bell pepper mix well and simmer on low flame for 12 to 15 minutes.

     5: garnish with green chilli, garam masala powder mix well.

     6: serve hot with naan, roti.
