GARLIC CHEESE BREAD

Cooking Temp: 180  °C

Ingredients

For Bread Dough:

 1: plain flour 2 & 1/2 cups

 2: active dry yeast 2 & 1/4 tsp

 3: warm milk 1 & 1/4 cup

 4: sugar 1/2 tsp

 5: salt 1tsp

 

 For Filling:

 1: garlic 1 whole head (peeled & crushed)

 2: fresh parsley 1/2 cup (finely chopped)

 3: parmesan cheese 1/3 cup (grated)

 4: mozzarella cheese 1 cup (grated)

 5: unsalted butter 110g (softened)

 6: salt 1/2 tsp

 7: crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. GARLIC CHEESE BREAD

     1: in a bowl combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar stir it and leave it till gets foamy, 10 to 15 minutes.

     2: now in a bowl add plain flour, salt & mix, then add the milk mixture and mix well.

     3: dust a little flour and knead the dough till smooth and do not stick to your hands for about 5 to 7 minutes.

     4: grease the bowl with olive oil 1 tbsp and roll the dough so that it does not have a dry crust, cover and leave it for 1  hour or till gets double in size in a warm place.

     5: make the filling: in a bowl add butter mash it add garlic, salt, black pepper, parsley mix well, and keep aside.

     6: once the dough has doubled in size, dust the surface with flour and punch down to remove excess air.

     7: roll the dough into a rectangular shape.

     8: spread the filling over the dough leaving the edges, and sprinkle mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese.

     9: now roll the dough into a log lengthwise.

     10: slice the roll in half lengthwise, leaving one end about 2 inches.

     11: twist the two sides into a braid and fold the ends inwards.

     12: grease the loaf tin and place the dough in it, cover and leave it for 1 hour.

     13: preheat oven 350f, 180c, gas mark 4.

     14: brush the dough with olive oil and bake it for 35 to 45 minutes (it took me 35 minutes to bake the bread dough).

     15: once baked leave the bread in the tin for 10 minutes.

     16: serve and enjoy.
