FROZEN KEEMA PARATHA

Ingredients

1: dough (see the link in the video)

2: mince 1/2kg (fatless mutton)
3: mint 1cup
4: onions 1 large (chopped)
5: ginger 2inch piece (grated)
6: green chilli 3 (chopped)
7: coriander powder 1tsp
8: cumin powder 1tsp
9: salt 1tsp
10:all spices 1/2tsp
11:turmeric 1/2tsp
12:red chilli powder 1tsp
13:oil 2tbs
14:gram flour 1/2 cup
 
 

Instructions

  1. 1: heat the oil and add the gram flour and roast it till gets a golden colour on low to medium flame.(keep aside).
     
    2: in a pan add the mince, onions, ginger, coriander powder, salt, turmeric, cumin powder, red chilli powder and water 1/2 cup, mix well cover and cook on low to medium till the water dries.
     
    3: now add the mint, green chilli, all spices and the roasted gram flour mix well and cook further on medium flame for 5 minutes keep stirring.
     
    4: leave to cool completely.
     
    5: make balls of the dough and roll it then add  1tsp of ghee/oil and spread the mince about 2 to 3 tbs each paratha, then give a cut in the bottom of the paratha and roll to make a cone.
     
    6: then press the cone down and again roll.
     
    7: heat a nonstick pan and cook the parathas for 30 seconds on each side.
     
    8: place each paratha separately and let it cool down then layer them and keep in a freezer bag and freeze.
     
    NOTE: can freeze it for good 6 months, and to cook again, heat the pan and cook from frozen add ghee/oil and cook the parathas.
