ELAICHI CHICKEN RECIPE

Ingredients

 

 

 1: chicken 1 kg (cut in 12 to 16 pieces)

 2: tomatoes 3 (grind)

 3: yogurt 1 cup

 4: cumin seeds 1 tsp

 5: coriander powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 6: green cardamom powder 1 tsp (elaichi )

 7: green cardamom whole 7 (elaichi)

 8: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 9: red chilli powder 1 tsp (heaped)

 10: salt 1 tsp

 11: black pepper powder 1/2 tsp

 12: green chilli 3 (slice in half)

 13: oil 1/2 cup

 14: fresh coriander 4 tbsp

 

 

Instructions

  1. ELAICHI CHICKEN RECIPE

     1: heat oil add chicken, coriander powder, red chilli, salt, turmeric, black pepper powder, green cardamom whole mix  well and fry it for 5 minutes on high flame.

     2: now add the tomatoes and cook on high flame till the oil comes on the surface.

     3: then add yogurt mix it, wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium till the oil comes on surface.

     4: add green cardamom powder, cumin seeds, green chilli, fresh coriander, simmer for a few minutes.

     5: serve hot with naan, roti.
