Ingredients

1: chicken 1 kg (cut into 12 pieces)

2: ready-made fried onions 1 cup

3: Bullet green chilli 4

4: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp (heaped)

5: yogurt  1/2 cup

6: cloves 6

7: salt 1 tsp

8: red chilli powder 1 tsp

9: turmeric 1/2 tsp

10: fennel seed powder 1 tsp

11: cumin seeds powder 1 tsp (dry roasted and grinded)

12: oil 1/2 cup

  1. 1: dry roast the cumin seeds and grind.

    2: marinate chicken with salt, red chilli, cumin power, fennel powder, turmeric, ginger & garlic, yogurt mix well cover and keep in fridge for 1 hour.

    3: heat oil and fry the cloves for a minute on high flame.

    4: now add the chicken with the marination and wait for a boil on high flame, then lower the flame to low medium and cook till the chicken is cooked and little water is left.

    5: then add the fried onions mix and simmer on low flame for 2 minutes.

    6: now add the green chilli mix.

    7: serve hot with naan.
