DHUAN DAR DAAL KABAB

Ingredients

 For Making Daal:

 1: chana daal 1/2 kg (washed) (split chickpea)

 2: onion 1 large (sliced)

 3: tomatoes 3 medium (grind)

 4: ginger & garlic paste 1 & 1/2 tbsp

 5: turmeric 1/2 tsp

 6: coriander powder 1 & 1/2 tbsp

 7: cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp

 8: red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 9: salt 2 tsp

 10: oil 1 cup

 

 For Tempering:

 1: cumin seeds 1 tsp

 2: garlic cloves 6 (sliced)

 3: green chilli 4 (sliced)

 4: dry fenugreek leaves 3 tbsp

 5: oil 1/3 cup or (less your choice)

 

 For Making Kebab:

 1: mutton mince 1 kg

 2: onion 1 large (finely chopped)

 3: green chilli 4 (finely chopped)

 4: salt 1 tsp (heaped)

 5: red chilli podwer 1 tsp (heaped)

 6: cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

 7: coriander powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 8: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp

 9: cumin powder 1 & 1/2 tsp

 10: fresh coriander leaves handful

 11: coals to smoke the curry

  1. 1: to make kebabs: add all ingredients and mix well and keep aside for 30 mintes.

     2: grease your palms and make small kebabs.

     3: fry till golden and cooked on medium flame, place on paper towel & keep aside.

     4: to make daal: heat oil add onions, ginger & garlic paste, fry on high flame till gets golden.

     5: then add tomatoes, salt, red chilli, cumin powder, corainder powder, turmeric mix well and cook till the oil comes on surface.

     6: now ad the daal, water 4 cups mix and cover and cook the daal is tender (if cooking in pressure cooker then cook for 25 mnutes).

     7: transfer the fried kebabs in the cooked daal,add garam masala powder mix it well.

     8: heat the coal and add to the curry as showen in the video.

     9: in oil add garlic and let it get golden, then add cumin seeds, green chilli transfer it to the curry.

     10: add the fenugreek leaves and simmer for 5 minutes on low flame.

     11: serve hot with RotiRice or Parathe.
