Chutney Chana Chaat

Ingredients

 

 To Make Green Chutney:

 1: fresh coriander 1 small bunch

 2: mint leaves 25

 3: green chilli 2

 4: lemon juice 3 tbsp

 5: salt 1/2 tsp

 

 For Chana Chaat:

 1: yogurt 1 & 1/2 cup

 2: sugar 2 tsp

 3: salt 1/2 tsp

 4: chaat masala 1 tsp

 5: green chutney 3 tbsp

 6: Tamarind pulp 4 tbsp (or) sweet Tamarind chutney 3 tbsp

 

 Other Ingredients:

 1: chickpeas 2 cups (boiled)

 2: potatoes 250g (peeled, cut in cubes & boiled with 1/4 tsp salt)

 3: onion 1 small (finely chopped)

 4: tomato 1 small (deseeded & finely chopped)

 5: green chilli 2 (finely sliced)

 6: cumin seeds 1/2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed) 

  

Instructions

  1. Chutney Chana Chaat

     1: to make green chutney in a blender add all ingredients under chutney and grind to a paste (can store in the fridge in a air tight container).

     2: in a bowl add all ingredients under chaan chaat mix well.

     3: now in a bowl add chickpeas, potatoes, onion, tomato, green chilli, yogurt mixture mix well.

     4: sprinkle roasted cumin and serve.

     5: serve chilled with sweet tamarind chutney, goal gappay.
