Chicken Masala Powder

Best Season: Suitable throughout the year

Ingredients

1: dry red chili 15

2: coriander seeds 3 tbsp

3: cumin seeds 1 tbsp

4: black mustard seeds 1 tsp

5: fenugreek seeds 1/2 tsp

6: black peppercorn 1 tbsp

7: fennel seeds 1 tsp

8: bay leaves 4

9: cloves 12

10: green cardamom 8

11: black cardamom 4

12: cinnamon stick 3-inch piece

13: cashouts 12

 

Other Spices:

1: turmeric 1/2 tsp

2: salt 1 tsp

3: Kashmiri red chilli 1 tbsp

4: nutmeg 1/2 tsp

5: mace 1/2 tsp

6: garlic powder 2 tsp

7: ginger powder 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Chicken Masala Powder

     1: heat a frying pan, add dry red chili and dry roast, and keep aside.

     2: again heat the frying pan add all dry whole spices and dry roast till you can smell the aroma of the spices.

     3: let it cool.

     4: grind to a powder.

     5: now add turmeric, salt, Kashmiri red chili, nutmeg, mace, garlic powder, and ginger powder and mix well.

     6: store in an air-tight container and use in meat, and chicken curry.

     7: can used for 6 to 8 months.
