Chicken Lapeta Recipe
Ingredients
Chicken Marination:
1: chicken 1 kg
2: cumin powder 1 tsp
3: red chilli powder 1 tsp
4: turmeric 1/2 tsp
5: salt 1 tsp
6: lemon juice 2 tbsp
7: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
8: yogurt 4 tbsp
Chutney:
1: coconut 3 inch
2: cashew nuts 15 to 20
3: green chilli 4
4: water 1/2 cup
5: fresh coriander 1/2 cup
For Coating Chicken:
1: egg 1
2: oil 1/2 cup
3: coal to smoke the chicken
For Curry:
1: oil 1/3 cup
2: cumin seeds 1 tsp
3: black peppercorn 10 to 12
4: cinnamon stick 2 inch
5: green cardamom 6 to 7
6: onions 2 large (grind)
7: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
8: tomatoes 4 (grind)
9: black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
10: red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
11: coriander powder 1 tsp
12: salt 1 tsp
13: turmeric 1/2 tsp
14: garam masala powder 1 tsp
15: fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp
16: yogurt 4 to 5 tbsp
17: cream 1/2 cup
For Garnishing:
1: eggs 2, salt 1/4 tsp, red chilli 1/4 tsp
Instructions

1: marinate chicken with all ingredients under marination and leave it for 1 to 1 & 1/2 hour.
2: in a blender add the ingredients under chutney and grnd to a smooth paste.
3: heat oil 1/2 cup and add the marinated chicken and cook on low to medium flame till the chicken is tender.
4: now beat a egg and pour it over the chicken and cook till the egg is cooked.
5: heat a coal and smoke the chicken and keep aside as showen in the video.
6: heat oil add cumn, black pepper corn, cinnamon, green cardamom, onions and fry till changes colour.
7: then add ginger & garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes and add the tomatoes, black pepper, redc hilli powder, corainder powder, salt, turmeric, garam masala powder, fenugreek leaves mix well, cover and cook on medium flame till the oil comes on the surface.
8: now add the chuntey that was grinded, yogurt, water 1 cup mix well cover and cook on medium flame till oil comes surface (you can add more salt and red chilli powder if requied at this).
9: now add the chicken, cream mix and simmer for 7 to 8 minutes.
10: heat oil 2 tbsp, beat eggs add salt, red chilli powder and fry it and cut in srtips and garnish the curry.
11: serve hot with naan.
