CHICKEN DAL TIKKI

Ingredients

1: chana dal 1/2 cup (soaked over night & boiled till tender)

 2: Mash Dal 1/2 cup (soaked over night & boiled till tender)

 3: chicken mince 1/2 kg

 4: egg 1

 5: rice flour 3 tbsp

 6: salt 1 tsp

 7: cumin seeds 1 tbsp (dry roasted and crushed)

 8: crushed black pepper 1 tsp

 9: crushed red chilli 1 & 1/2 tbsp

 10: green chilli 3 (finely chopped)

 11: fresh coriander 2 tbsp

 12: fresh mint 1 tbsp

 13: oil for frying

Instructions

  1. CHICKEN DAL TIKKI

     1: in a chopper add chicken mince, chana dal, mash dal, and grind till combined.

     2: then add coriander, mint, green chili, crushed red chili, crushed black pepper, cumin, salt, rice flour, and egg and mix well.

     3: grease your palms and make flat thick tikki.

     4: heat oil and fry till golden on both sides, on medium to high flame for 4 to 5 minutes, then place them on a paper towel.

     5: serve hot with mint chutney, and sweet imli chutney.
