CHICKEN CURRY

Ingredients

1: chicken 1 kg (cut in 12 to 16 pieces)

2: thick greek yogurt 1 cup

3: ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp

4: chaat masala 1 tsp

5: crushed recd chilli 1 & 1/2 tsp

6: garam masala powder 1 tsp

7: cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

8: salt 1 tsp

9: turmeric 1/2 tsp

10:green chilli 2

11:oil 1/2 cup

12:dry fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. 1: heat oil add chicken and fry on high flame till it changes colour.

    2: add ginger & garlic, chaat masala, turmeric, salt, cumin, crushed red chilli, yogurt, water 1 cup mix well, wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium flame till the chicken is tender and oil comes on the surface.

    3: now add garam masala powder, green chilli, dry fenugreek leaves mix.

    4: serve hot with roti, naan.
