Cabbage Recipe With Shimla Mirch & Matar
Ingredients
1: oil 1/3 cup
2: cumin seeds 2 tsp
3: rai dana 1 tsp (mustard seeds)
4: asafoetida 1/4 tsp
5: garlic 1 tbsp (heaped & crushed)
6: onion 1 large (sliced)
7: cabbage 500g (sliced)
8: peas 1 cup
9: tomato 1 large (chopped)
10: bellpeppers 3 medium (sliced)
11: red chilli powder 1 tsp (heaped)
12: salt 1 tsp (heaped)
13: coriander powder 1 & 1/2 tsp
14: turmeric 1/2 tsp
15: green chilli 3 (sliced)
16: garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
17: chaat masala 1 tsp
18: fresh coriander hand-full
19: green chilli 3
Instructions

1: heat oil add cumin seeds, rai dana, asafoetida, garlic and fry till gets golden on high flame.
2: add onion and fry on high flame till the onions get soft.
3: now add cabbage, pease mix well and cook on low to medium flame covered for 6 to 7 minutes to let the cabbage soften.
4: then add tomato, bell-peppers, red chilli, salt, turmeric, coriander powder, green chilli mix well and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame.
5: then add garam masala powder, chaat masala mix well and cook on high flame till the oil comes on surface.
6: add fresh coriander, green chilli mix.
7: serve hot with roti, paratha, chutney.
