Butter Chicken Hara Masala

Ingredients

 For Chicken Marination:

 1: boneless chicken 1 kg

 2: yogurt 1 cup

 3: lemon juice 3 tbsp

 4: salt 1/2 tsp

 5: red chilli powder 1/2 tsp

 6: coriander powder 2 tsp

 7: fresh coriander 3 tbsp

 

 To Make Hara Masala:

 1: mint leaves 15

 2: spring onion 1 cup (green part)

 3: fresh coriander 1 medium bunch

 4: green chilli 5

 5: cumin seeds 2 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)

 6: yogurt 5 tbsp

 7: water 1/2 cup

 

 To Make a Special Paste:

 1: oil 3 tbsp

 2: onions 2 large

 3: garlic 7 cloves

 4: cashew nuts 20

 5: tomatoes 5 small

 

 To Cook The Chicken Other Ingredients:

 1: green chilli 4 (chopped)

 2: oil 4 tbsp

 3: oil 1/3 cup

 4: butter 50g

 5: salt 1 tsp

 6: coriander powder 2 tsp (heaped)

 7: cumin powder 2 tsp (heaped)

 8: red chilli powder 1 tsp

 9: garam masala powder 1 tsp

10: dry fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp (heaped)

11: cream 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1.  1: in a bowl add chicken with all ingredients under marination, mix well and keep aside for 1/2 hour.

     2: in a blander add all ingredients hara masala, grind to a paste and keep aside.

     3: heat oil n a fry pan add onions, garlic, cashew nuts and fry on high flame till the onions get soft.

     4: now add tomatoes mix and cook on high flame till the tomatoes get soft.

     5: then cool the mixture and grind to a paste as shown in the video.

     6: heat oil add green chilli, marinated chicken mix on high flame till the chicken gets white in colour, then add 1 cup of water and cook on medium flame till the oil separates and chicken is tender.

     7: heat oil and butter add the onion mixture, hara masala, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, fenugreek leaves, water 1 cup mix and cook on medium flame till the oil separates.

     8: now add the cooked chicken, cream mix and cook on high flame till the oil separates.

     9: garnish with cream, butter, fenugreek leaves.

    10: serve hot with naan, roti, paratha.
