Bread Quiche Cup

Ingredients

 1. 12 slices of bread

 2. 1 tbsp oil

 3. 1 small onion (finely chopped)

 4. 1 chicken sausage (chopped)

 5. 3/4 cup milk

 6. 1 tsp crushed black pepper

 7. 1/4 tsp salt

 8. 1/2 tsp dry parsley

 9. 3 eggs

10. 1 small bell pepper (chopped)

11. 1/2 cup cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C), Gas Mark 4.

     

     1. Take bread slices and use a cutter to create shapes as shown in the video.

     2. Roll the bread slices flat.

     3. Grease the cupcake tray.

     4. Place the bread slices in the tray and bake for 3 minutes until crisp.

     5. Heat oil, add onion, and cook until soft. Add sausage and cook for a minute on low flame.

     6. In a jug, add milk, pepper, salt, parsley, eggs, and beat well.

     7. Add the onion and sausage mixture into the baked bread cups, along with bell peppers and cheese. Pour the egg mixture.

     8. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the egg mixture is firm.

     9. Serve hot with ketchup, juice, or tea.
