BEEF NASHIF

Ingredients

 

 

1: beef 1kg (sirloin cut in strips)

2: lemon powder 1 tsp

3: bazaar 2 tsp (check the link on the video)

4: coriander powder 1ts

5: turmeric 1/4 tsp

6: cumin powder 1 tsp

7: crushed black pepper 1&1/2 tsp

8: chicken stock 1

9: salt 1/2 tsp

10:bell pepper 1 (cut in small cubes & deseeded)

11:onion 1 (cut in small cubes)

12:tomato 1 (cut in cubes & deseeded)

13:walnuts 1/3 cup

14:cashew nuts 1/3 cup

15:mozzarella cheese 1/3 cup (cut in cubes)

16:soft dates 1 cup (deseeded)

17:date syrup 1/3 cup (soak 8 dates in hot water & mash well, then strain and scrap the bottom for the pulp)

18:oil 4tbs

19:garlic 4 pieces (cut in small pieces)

 

 

Instructions

  1. BEEF NASHIF

     

     

    1: heat oil and fry the garlic till light golden.

    2: add the beef strips and cook till changes colour on high flame, then add coriander powder, lemon powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, crushed black pepper, salt, chicken cube, water 1 cup, bazaar powder mix cover and cook on low to medium till the water dries.

    3: then add tomato and sauté till gets soft on high flame.

    4: now add onions, bell pepper, walnuts, cashew nuts, dates, date syrup mix and cook on high flame till the onion gets transparent on high flame.

    5: then add the cheese and sauté for 2 minutes on high flame.

    6: serve hot with pitta naan or butter rice.
