BEEF BOTI MASALA

Ingredients

To Marinate:

1: beef meat 1 kg 

2: papaya paste 4 tbsp

 

For Curry:

1: onions 4 medium (grind)

2: ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp

3: thick greek yogurt 2 cups

4: green chilli paste 4 tbsp 

5: tamarind paste 4 tbsp

6: black pepper powder 2 tsp

7: chaat masala powder 2 tsp

8: cumin seeds 2 tbsp (dry roasted & crushed)

9: fresh coriander 1/3 cup

10: green chilli 2 (sliced)

11: salt 1 tsp

12: oil 1/2 cup

13: coal to smoke the meat

  1.  1: mix beef and papaya paste and marinate overnight. 

     2: heat oil add onion, ginger & garlic paste fry till changes color, on high flame.

     3: now add crushed cumin, black pepper, salt, yogurt, green chilli paste, tamarind paste mix well, and cook till the oil comes to the surface. 

     4: then add the marinated beef, mix well, on high flame wait for a boil, then cover and cook on low flame till the meat is tender (can use water if the meat does not get tender).

     5: heat coal. 

     6: once the meat is cooked add coriander leaves and chaat masala mix, place the coal in a bowl, and some oil cover the pot till the smoke settles. 

     7: add the green chili and cook for 2 minutes on high flame.

     8: Served hot with Roti Or Naan.
